About the "Artist"
I'm Alex. Twenty-one year old student by day, and... mostly the same thing by night. I love cinnamon flavored candy, dead white men, and the smell of asphalt after it rains. Danger is not my middle name, but I'd consider changing it. My favorite movies are in black and white and star Jimmy Stewart and good ol' fashioned morality; my favorite television show is somewhere betwen Law and Order and Veronica Mars. My favorite book is a subject that would require four pages of single-spaced text and would not even answer the question. I can play the flute and sing tolerably, but I cannot whistle or roll my r's.
All in all, I think I like me.
I've always enjoyed drawing, but for some reason stubbornly refused to take a class about it. Now that I've damned myself to the requirements of my major, I regret that. My love affair with the internet, or at least the creative aspects of it, began in my sophomore year of high school when I decided I needed to get a hobby. This is the one I stumbled into, after discovering personal sites one day after some hours of mindless browsing. I realized I was just narcissistic enough to believe the internet would enjoy hearing about me and my day. So far about a half-million people have at least stopped by. That's not amazing, but hey, it's more popular than I was in high school!
